The History
In 2009, a band known as The Texas Alligators Blues Band was formed for the recording of a single CD, called Voodoo Fury, named after a song on that album. After the recording was finished, the idea of the band was put on ice, and nothing was done with it until 2011, when Flick and Dave called Jimi Divine and Tom Jensen together for a Battle of the bands.
This incarnation of the band received the name, The Texas Alligators, and placed 4th in the Battle For America, April 2011. They played to a packed house at Reno's in Arlington. You can find a video of this performance on our Video Links page. In October of that year, Flick and Dave performed at Jam Session at Strokers' Dallas, where Aragon was also on the stage. Flick hired Aragon, and he has been playing with the band since. |
